1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Noppup ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Noppup is a desktop companion application for macOS that provides an animated pet character, AI-powered chat, productivity tools, and wellness features. The App is developed and maintained by DonQuijotech.

3. Free and Pro Plans

  • Free Plan: Includes basic features at no cost. Free forever with no credit card required.
  • Pro Plan: A paid subscription that unlocks additional features including unlimited AI chat, all pets, and premium tools. Pricing is listed on our website and within the App.

4. Payments and Subscriptions

  • Pro subscriptions are billed monthly or annually as selected at the time of purchase.
  • You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time from within the App. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
  • We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will be notified before any price changes affect their subscription.

5. AI Chat

  • The AI chat feature is powered by third-party AI technology (Anthropic's Claude). While we strive for accuracy, AI responses may not always be correct.
  • Do not rely on AI chat for medical, legal, financial, or emergency advice.
  • You are responsible for your use of AI chat and any actions you take based on AI responses.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to generate harmful, illegal, or abusive content
  • Attempt to circumvent any usage limits or security measures
  • Redistribute or resell the App or any of its components

7. Intellectual Property

All content, characters, designs, code, and branding in Noppup are the intellectual property of DonQuijotech. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these terms.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DonQuijotech shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
